SoulseekQT Freezes on search on Windows 8 x64

Anytime I search using windows 8 x64, my client freezes for a minute and it returns to normal. Sometimes I have to close it with task manager. Tried previous versions. This problem did not always occur, but developed at a point in time after initial installation.

ok, sure i can do that...and maybe it'll help! :) but i'm using the same slsk settings as i used under windows 7...and there i had sometimes 9-10 search tabs open (with the search result limit completely disabled!!)..without any freezes or GUI lags! the ram usage is not a problem for me (i have 8GB of ram)

edit: ok i've enabled the search result limit now..had 3 search tabs open..sure its better now, but not perfect..GUI is pretty laggy (but no freezes until now!) when i switch between the tabs.

that UI lag could be due some issues with your video drivers, try upgrade them.

nope! cause i got the latest drivers..it's like a really short freeze.
