Security: Someone tried to reset my account's password

As the tittle suggest, someone has tried to reset the password of my account.

Today I received an email that says

"MyUsername,

A request to reset the password for your account has been made at Soulseek.

You may now log in by clicking this link or copying and pasting it to your
browser:

http://www.soulseekqt.net/news/user/reset/***** [I deleted the rest of the url]

This link can only be used once to log in and will lead you to a page where
you can set your password. It expires after one day and nothing will happen
if it's not used.

The thing is that I did not recall ever accessing this website before, so I suspected its legitimacy. I accessed the site by typing (not copy and paste) in a proxy, and also read some articles and learned that it is a p2p program. And apparently this website is legit.

So then I searched my email to see if I ever did register to this website before, and turns out that I did register to this website few years ago.

Still, I received an email that *I* (??) requested my password to be reset, and that email was sent at 4am. FOUR A.M.
I am sleeping! there is no way I will reset my password to a site I forgot at a time I am sleeping.

I want to know what is going on, and perhaps even alert other people.
