Disappearing Soulseek?

I downloaded Soulseek QT so I could listen to music. I made a username, got onto the chat, and then clicked minimize-and then the window vanished, unrecoverable. I went to the start menu to click on it again, and it refused to open. I uninstalled and reinstalled, same problem. What happened?

i have the same problem using windows 8. not sure why. so...if you minimize it, you can find it in the toolbar on the lower right side of your desktop....right by the time...click on the little arrow facing up....then click on the soulseek icon to maximize it. trying to find an easier solution but thats what i do.
