Lost My Wislist

After entering about 100 Wishlist entries, I was SO happy with my download results that I decided to donate $30. Some other program on my system had asked me to reboot my PC, but after which, my Wishlist had reverted to days-ago and my active downloads were all lost and several downloads were being shown in GREEN text as COMPLETED, even though I had set my option to automatically Clear Completed Downloads DAYS AGO (and these files I had already transferred from my "complete" folder to my archives. Can I either get this fixed or get my $30 refunded ? (Ironically, I had chatted with the recipient of my $30 about my idea to save Wishlists by taking Print Screens, saving them to JPG files and later using OCR to recover them if needed.)

Luckily, I had changed to a strategy of only posting 20 or so items to my Wishlist and maintaing a spreadsheet with my whole list of wishes. Again, after Soulseek hanging, my using Task Manager to kill it and restarting it, my wishlist has reverted to the early days of installation, along with my in-process downloads being replaced by files I already have and my changed-setting s also reverted. Is there a way to fix this? In the interim, I will uninstall and reinstall.

I was just blowing off steam when commenting about wanting my $30 refund. :) Never post to a forum when either drunk or pissed off. :)

Since I'm adopting a new strategy of managing my Wishlist in an Excel spreadsheet, I no longer fear QT failure and am open to using a client that has all the new gadgets. Can I assume that the latest Windows download has all such new features or is there another page that has beta/test versions for download ?

A great feature would be the option to both upload and download the Wishlist to a CSV/TXT file (comma-delimted). This would serve as both a backup and to allow programs such as Excel or Word/Notepad to be used to manage Wishlists.

I screwed up royally. A user reported a problem with the client not saving the data at all if it crashes a couple of weeks ago, and in between my day job and working on other things in the client I completely forgot to look into it. I'll post new builds to the sidebar in just a few. If you want your donation refunded, let me know and I'll have Ortali contact you.

Apologies, Nir

The links on the download page have been updated with the fix.

Thanks, Nir
