Sharing folders and changing download folder

Hi,

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but how do you tell SoulseekQt which folders to share?

If I go to the "Shares" tab, I just get a big gray box. I've tried right-clicking on it but nothing happens.

If I go to "Options" and then click the "File Sharing" sub-tab, I get a line telling me where my Download Location is, and then a big white box titled "Shared Folders". This white box has two columns, "Shared Folder" and "Accessible To". There isn't a plus sign anywhere, right-clicking does nothing. In short, how do I add a shared folder so that others can upload from me?

Also, that Download Location path is uneditable.

I'm running the nightly build for 11/28 on OS X Lion. Though to be fair, I had the same issues on a previous build.

Like I said, I'm sure there's something obvious I'm missing, I'd just love to know what it is.

The button bar at the top should change to provide context-specific actions for the view you're in. When you're looking at the Options->File Sharing tab, the buttons should allow you to set your download folder and share and unshare folders. If you're not seeing these buttons, click the shared folders list and they should appear. Generally they should always be there but there are circumstances where they disappear that I'm working on fixing.

Thank you.

I cant set my sharing folder,(windows 8).When I enter folder it says"Can't use root folder.I need to get it going so I can download.
Thanks.

I had the same problem (also with Windows 8) and I've finally solved it by putting the shared folder in C:/Users/Public . Try that.

I can't unshare a folder on my Mac, when i right-click the unshare-option is visible for a short moment but can't be chosen. Does a quick-button for unsharing exist?
