Soulseek does not connect to the server

I uninstalled Soulseek to upgrade to a newer version and install the new version found several problems and one of them not connected to the server and warned of the login be wrong. Then replace the complete login and password several times and did not solve anything. Thus dissatisfied I uninstalled the program and tried to go back to the old previously worked correctly and always connected without ever having difficulties. Now I have the previous version installed but not connected in any way to the server and worried a big problem with the door I realized a check through the program and consisted they are configured correctly and open. What's this? Will I no longer be able to use Soulseek and have to disclose that the program does not pay? Ask someone for help! I'm from Brazil and here we have a lot of help with this program! Thank you!

It's possible your ISP may be blocking Soulseek. I'd try asking someone who's using the same ISP to connect and see if they are able to.

I thank the explanations that I have been sent by users of Soulseek friends but unfortunately it was said that could be using the ISP. Thus I would like to explain me what is this ISP and how it works or interferes with the connection to the Soulseek server. I would also like to explain me in detail how to fix this and know that everything works according to the criteria of Soulseek.
Thank you!

ISP = your Internet service provider = the company or institution that is giving you Internet access, probably in exchange for your money.

ISPs place restrictions on what their customers can do on the network. Sometimes those restrictions make it impossible to run a file-sharing app like Soulseek. We don't know what ISP you are using, and we don't know if it really is interfering... we can only guess.

I have similar problem and raised in another thread.

If I check with my ISP, how can I ask the customer service to know if they block soulseek? I guess they probably never heard of soulseek.
