Can't find files

Hi. The first download I did went to music/soulseek/complete. Then I downloaded a lot of music yesterday assuming it would end up there. Today I checked. NOTHING. I can't find the music anywhere and it was set to music/soulseek, but did not say to the complete folder. This shouldn't matter anyways. I've since set it to music/soulseek/copmplete and now the music is going there, but do I really have to re-download everything? Where the hell could it have gone? Would it actually have downloaded and not saved due to the folder not being specified? It should just have gone into the soulseek folder in music. So annoying. I spent 8 hours. When I search my computer for the music it doesn't show up even though they show as green finished transfers in the program. Help. I'm re-downloading but it isn't the same now.
