SoulseekQT freezes, also freezes internet connection
SoulSeekQT freezes up after about a minute or so everytime I run it (Win7). It does the same thing on my gf's new Win8 PC. I can't force close it (it does eventually close after about the 20th time I hit end task). While it's frozen, the computer's whole network service stops working. Nothing can use the internet until Soulseek closes. I tried Googling it but I can't find anybody else who has this problem. Which is weird because it happens on every computer I've tried it on.
I don't have any AV. Windows Search Indexing is turned off. I have ZoneAlarm but Soulseek is allowed through it.
I can't think of anything else that could be causing this. I went through the options and don't see anything that could affect it.
Does anyone know why this could be causing this? My gf's computer has the exact same problem even though her setup is completely different.

Which version of SoulseekQt
Which version of SoulseekQt are you using? It should say in the title bar. Is this the first version you tried out? If not, was this happening with older versions?
Build 2014.8.31
Sorry I meant to reply sooner. It's the latest build (2014.8.31). I just upgraded it before my initial post. It was doing that with a previous build but I don't remember the version number, but it was probably 6-12 months old.
I've had a similar problem
I've had a similar problem with all versions I've used over the past year and a half or so (since I started using slsk), though mine doesn't freeze after a certain amount of time; it freezes occasionally after making many searches. Upon pressing search (sometimes even as I'm typing my search) it will freeze up. I have to unplug the ethernet cable in order to close SoulseekQt, else nothing will respond.
It seems to occur more frequently when searching for popular files with many results.
