Downloaded music files are sometimes corrupt

What I mean by corrupt, is that the song keeps playing until the 1:12 mark, at which point the song just jumps to the end.
I use the latest version of iTunes for my music files, and when I convert the corrupt files into AAC versions, they all end at 1:12.
I also noticed that you can still play the bits after 1:12, only if you start playing the song at a point after 1:12.
This seems to happen randomly. If I try downloading the corrupt music files again, sometimes they do work.

Anyone with the same problem?

Did you accidentally queue 2 files with the same name, and then start the download from one person and then resume it from another person who maybe wasn't sharing the exact same file?
