Build 2013.5.18 Keeps Crashing

Since downloading the latest update for SoulseekQt, I am having major crashing problems. If I do more than one search and click to download from that page, then go to another search page, the program crashes (closes without warning). Or, just in general, if I am maneuvering about in the program, it will crash. The most frustrating thing about this is that when I re-open the program, I have lost my download queue. It reappears once I search and requeue the items that went missing in the download list.

If there is not a simple workaround for this issue, could someone please tell me the last stable Qt version? Oddly, I tried installing an earlier version (the last version from 2012), but it doesn't seem to work. I am hesitant to completely uninstall Soulseek, for I do not wish to lose all my settings.

Are others of you experiencing crashing issues with this build? I could not find this issue discussed directly on these forums.

How many files are you sharing? Sometimes, when sharing a large number of files, I notice that my Qt client lags up as I change between tabs, or close a search tab, and other little lag spikes.

I've quietly dealt with it because it's pretty much a given if you're sharing a ton of files. Unless Nir can work miracles, then it's not going to change soon for those who share 100,000+ files! ;)
Lag spikes I can live with. Crashes, not so much.

But, if you're not sharing that many files, I'm not sure why it'd crash - the most recent version is quite stable here for me on Win7, Win8, and Linux x64.

Oh, and you won't lose any settings if you reinstall Soulseek - just make sure you backup your .Soulseek file (soulseek-client.dat) - easy peasy! It saves everything: user list, settings, etc.

Good luck!

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I am sharing tons of files. I don't know how many because when I added my name to my User list it does not show up. So I do not know precisely how many. The build is getting flakier and flakier. Any function I do lags. I appreciate your comments. I'll try limping a little longer, then I'll install an earlier build and see what happens.

The builds aren't getting flakier in my opinion, but when I add myself to the user list I can see the number of files I am sharing. Not sure why yours would not show.
