QT forgets my download queue and people added to list since today

Hi,

Since today Soulseek QT keeps forgetting my download queue and people newly added to the list after a restart of the program.
What can cause this and more important how can I resolve this without doing a complete new install and losing my >400 people on the userlist...

It sounds like the client is unable to write a new configuration file. What operating system are you using SoulseekQt on?

Yeah, that was indeed the problem and I also found what it was myself...
My computer time was off, it was one day behind.
I really need to change the battery of the memory...

All works fine again.

That's a funny bug isn't it :) I'll make it so that it prefers configuration files that aren't newer than the current date.

Thanks, Nir

Sounds like a good plan :-)

Must say as early slsk user (yeah, we go way back Nir) Qt is doing very well here. I am so happy with this client.
Though, would really love to see a way to export the user list (for when I get a new computer or do a reinstall).

You can export the user list and all other client data, easily:

Same here - loving the Qt - solid choice man, it's the future!

Hi since I upgraded back on april, I have lost my que 3 times (w/user list). This would not be a huge issue, except for the fact that I don't turn off my soulseek EVER - so when I do its weeks of que info lost. What gives? WHy is this losing my pertinent info when I restart after these latest updates, it never did this before (for the past 3 years i used soulseekQT), I'm running mountain lion, but this laos happened on my macbook that runs lion.

Anyone that can help is appreciated.

I have just install QT. I cannot import a user list simply because it was lost when my old c drive died. I'm trying to rebuild the user list, but it gets lost everytime I close. How do I keep the list permanently.

I satrted a new topic, since I tought I was the only one who get this error.
I rarely restart my Qt, and I had a power loss. After the power came back, I realised that all the data dissapiered.
DL cue, shared folders, User list, whislist searches....

The .dat file(s) in the relevant folder contains some of these informations.
I installed the lates version... nothing.

How can I get ack the CUE list and the user infos?

My PC shut down while Soulseek was open. Now I do not have any downloads in queue anymore, and my user lists are gone. I had over 200 downloads in queue - how can I recover this list...?

Also, if I upgrade from 157 NS13c - will I lose my queues and user lists...?

Thanks
