Window ought to be more shrinkable in horizontal direction

Hello, I found one that in a resolution with, say, x = 1280 pixels, the SoulseekQt window will almost occupy the whole width of the screen. It has proved itself to be very stubborn towards any attempts to get the window shrunk further in horizontal (X) direction.

I tried to check if it's related to the widths of columns (Folder, File, ETA etc.; maybe I've set them too wide?) but it seems it's rather independent of it.

*obsolete*

The issue had a different cause, please see below.

Culprit was FOUND!

Nir, I've finally found the problem.
It's the fixed (?) area left of the Wish List Search pane on the client window's right hand side that causes this issue.
And as long as there is no wishlist hit (yet, client started up freshly), everything runs fine with the window (793 x 487 which is OK for me)

And, uh, don't go thinking that this could be cured by simply shrinking the columns left from it and THEN let the pane follow to the left hand side - that unfortunately does not work. (If only it was that easy! :p) Everything is like ... put in concrete if and only if hits are greater than 0.

Once I remove all hits, I can move the pane to the left again with no problems.
Again, the pane is *NOT* the problem. The problem is the area left of it which gets suddenly immobile once a wishlist item was found.

Could you please investigate this further a bit?

I confess that finding a solution for this is not the easiest task. :-O

I'll look into it.

Ah, I see the problem. It's actually the various controls at the bottom that limit the main window's ability to become smaller. I've eliminated their individual minimum sizes so this should be better in the next build.

Thanks, Nir

Thank you so much! This has been bug-ging me for some time. :)
