Errot installing QT program

I downloaded the Soulseek QT version built 11/7/2012 and whenever I go to install it, it won't allow it. I get an error message that says "Error opening file for writing" and have to abort. Any ideas? I had an early version of QT and loved it, but it kept crashing, so I uninstalled it, which led to me problem installing the newer version.
