I can't seem to open soulseekQT

I had just been using the application, when it closed without consent. When I tried opening it again, all I received was a memo from my computer (mac) saying ""SoulseekQT" is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?" This shouldn't normally be a problem, I would just have to click 'open' and it would run as per usual. However, it now closes itself whenever I authorize its opening. How do I fix this?

I have this same problem. Anyone know how to fix?

Also is there a way to install the program as an application instead of having to open via .dmg every time?
